more Obama support

It's the day before the election, and we passed these people "sign waving". Sign waving is an island tradition during elections.
So, back I went to the "sign waving" to show more of my personal support for Obama. There were about 40- 50 of us there on the side of the road waving our signs and giving everyone the Hawaiian "shuka bra" sign as they beeped in support and drove by. I was also invited to join in on election day- close to a seaside polling place and then join the Kona democratic election night party. It should be fun.....

Halloween Hawaiian style.........

This morning Carol and I said "Good bye" to Carol's family- Gary & Mel and Kay as they flew home after a week with us on Kauai.
This afternoon we flew to the island of Hawaii to house sit for our friends Harold and Maureen - just an hour prior to the start of the kids Halloweening. Harold and Maureen had everything set up for us- it was a kick. Everyone was outside on their driveway- Hawaiian style................great!!
