Carol is one of eleven children, so when almost everyone makes an event, like Christmas, we have over 75 people. We had a small Christmas Day gathering and had just over 20 people- that means most people were busy doing their own immediate family activities!!

Longwood Gardens
On the Monday between Christmas and New Year, Debbie, Dennis, Paul and Judy picked up Aunt Helen and we all went to Longwood Gardens. We had a delicious lunch (Longwood Gardens' famous mushroom soup) in the dining room before we started our tour. The flowers and exhibits are always breath-taking; especially at Christmas. It was a gorgeous day, so we were able to do some walking outside as well. We all went home happy, but tired.
December Days
Merry Christmas from the Millers ~ Paul and Judy.
We had a busy, but fun, December and want to share some of our days with you.
Our granddaughter, Lauren, spent a week at "Grand Camp" when Megan had to go to San Francisco for a conference. Here we are waiting for Santa to arrive, by plane, at the Lancaster Airport. What a fun week we had!
Our family Christmas, with our children and grandchildren, happened a couple of days early down in Virginia. We all met at Todd and Jennifer's home for three days of fun, presents, and too much food. The second photo shows Megan with our grandchildren ~ Lauren, Sean and Liam. Hope that you all had a wonderful holiday. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!

more Obama support
It's the day before the election, and we passed these people "sign waving". Sign waving is an island tradition during elections.
So, back I went to the "sign waving" to show more of my personal support for Obama. There were about 40- 50 of us there on the side of the road waving our signs and giving everyone the Hawaiian "shuka bra" sign as they beeped in support and drove by.
I was also invited to join in on election day- close to a seaside polling place and then join the Kona democratic election night party. It should be fun.....

This morning Carol and I said "Good bye" to Carol's family- Gary & Mel and Kay as they flew home after a week with us on Kauai.
This afternoon we flew to the island of Hawaii to house sit for our friends Harold and Maureen - just an hour prior to the start of the kids Halloweening. Harold and Maureen had everything set up for us- it was a kick. Everyone was outside on their driveway- Hawaiian style................great!!

and the Jones kids........
This is our son Aaron and his fiance Michelle.

They like to vacation on the gulf coast of Florida.
Here we are visiting with Aaron and Michelle and her son Preston. They live in Thomaston, GA- about an hour south of Atlanta.
Would you believe a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom house with a pool for $85K!! We really like their small town atmosphere.
Here we all are along with Judy and Paul at Spreewell Park on the Flint River.
*********************************************************************************
And here is our daughter Ami. She still plays a lot of soccer and recently finished her first duathlon at Imperial Beach, just south of San Diego where she lives. A duathlon consists running and biking.

She's our little "jock"...............
